How is cub scouts structured?
Cub Scouts are organized into small units called “dens”, which in Pack 447 are grouped by children that are in the same grade. The dens are organized and named as follows:
- Lions (Kindergarten)
- Tigers (Grade 1)
- Wolves (Grade 2)
- Bears (Grade 3)
- Webelos (Grade 4)
- Arrow of Light (Grade 5)
Each Den holds a meeting once a month. Dens are supervised by volunteer “Den Leaders”, who are parents that help the scouts pursue age-appropriate activities. There is also a Pack Meeting once a month where all dens meet together.
